At Convention, we chose our International Service Projects for the 2024-2026 biennium.

  • Ending Child Marriage Phase III. Zonta International’s Signature project with the UNFPA. US$1.5 million will be provided to accelerate the decline in child marriage in twelve countries and respond to the combined effects of the polycrisis and the pushback against gender equality on adolescent girls.  | PDF
  • Climate Empower: Community empowerment and innovation for gender-transformative climate action. Project with the UNFPA. US$1.0 million will be provided to prevent climate-induced gender-based violence and other harmful practices through interwoven innovative approaches and community-driven interventions in Madagascar, Mozambique, and South Sudan – some of the countries most vulnerable to climate change globally. • LaaHa: A virtual safe space for women and girls. Project with UNICEF. US$750,000 will be used to expand the LaaHa digital web-based platform to Bangladesh, Domocratic Republic of Congo, Moldova, Myanmar and Turkiye. LaaHa provides a safe online, moderated user forum for girls and women to learn about menstrual health and hygiene, healthy relationships, how to stay safe and know one’s rights, financial literacy, female anatomy and services for women and girls facing violence. | PDF

Every dollar donated to the Zonta Foundation for Women is used to support Zonta’s international program of service and advocacy projects, and our awards to promote the advancement of women in aerospace science and engineering, STEM, business, and leadership.

Learn more about child marriage globally and how you can take action internationally, nationally and locally to help end this human rights violation for the millions of girls at risk globally. Join Zonta members with a representative from the UNFPA Ending Child Marriage campaign.
